Changyu Bio manufactures these PCR and qPCR reagents in-house for molecular biology research. The family covers dye-based qPCR (CYPC33; ROX is sold separately as CYPC38), FastLong / FastHiFi / LongHiFi endpoint mixes, one-step RT-PCR (CYPC34), and first-strand cDNA (CYPC1802). All CYPC catalogs ship on ice packs and store at −20°C. Research Use Only.
Available product families

2×SYBR Green qPCR Mix
Cat# CYPC33 — Dye-based SYBR Green qPCR; ROX not included (add CYPC38 if your cycler needs it). Research Use Only.

FastLong PCR MasterMix
Cat# CYPC80 — FastLong mix, about 5–10 s/kb up to ~10 kb; red dye; polyA ends for TA cloning. Research Use Only.

FastHiFi PCR Master Mix
Cat# CYPC82 — Engineered Pfu FastHiFi; blunt ends; typically ≤3 kb on complex genomes. Research Use Only.

LongHiFi PCR Master Mix

TRUEscript One Step RT-PCR Kit
Cat# CYPC34 — One-tube RT-PCR with gene-specific primers (not oligo(dT)/random). Research Use Only.

TRUEscript 1st Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit
Cat# CYPC1802 — First-strand cDNA up to 12 kb; omit gDNA Remover if you will clone. Research Use Only.

ROX Reference Dye
Cat# CYPC38 — 100× ROX; ABI high vs low concentration; not needed on Roche/Bio-Rad/Eppendorf. Research Use Only.
Typical research applications
- Dye-based gene-expression qPCR with CYPC33 (add CYPC38 only if the cycler needs ROX)
- Endpoint PCR with polyA ends for TA cloning (CYPC80 FastLong)
- High-fidelity blunt PCR on short complex templates (CYPC82, typically ≤3 kb)
- Longer genomic amplicons with LongHiFi (CYPC84)
- One-tube RT-PCR with gene-specific primers (CYPC34 — not oligo(dT) or random primers)
- First-strand cDNA up to 12 kb (CYPC1802)
How these mixes differ
- Shipping — every CYPC catalog ships on ice packs. Store at −20°C on arrival; protect CYPC33 from light.
- ROX is a separate reagent — CYPC33 does not include ROX. CYPC38 is 100×; ABI instruments use high or low concentration; Roche, Bio-Rad and Eppendorf cyclers usually skip it.
- Ends decide the cloning kit — FastLong (CYPC80) leaves polyA ends for pTOPO-TA. FastHiFi (CYPC82) and LongHiFi (CYPC84) leave blunt ends for pTOPO-Blunt.
- One-step vs two-step RNA — CYPC34 is one-tube RT-PCR with gene-specific primers. CYPC1802 makes first-strand cDNA; omit gDNA Remover if you will clone the product.
Frequently asked questions
- How are the mixes shipped? Ice packs for every CYPC catalog. We do not use dry ice unless you ask and we confirm. Store at the temperature on each product page on arrival.
- Does 2×SYBR Green qPCR Mix include ROX? No. Add CYPC38 only if your instrument protocol requires it.
- FastHiFi vs LongHiFi vs FastLong? FastHiFi (CYPC82) is engineered Pfu, blunt, typically ≤3 kb on complex genomes. LongHiFi (CYPC84) is for longer templates, also blunt. FastLong (CYPC80) is about 5–10 s/kb up to ~10 kb, red dye, polyA ends.
- What pack sizes can I quote? Use the sizes on each product page (CYPC33 is 50 or 200 reactions). There is no list price on this site — request a quote.
- Are these products for clinical use? No. Research Use Only (RUO). Not for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications.
