Overview
CY-PCR-02 integrates partitioning, thermal cycling, chip reading and analysis in one benchtop instrument. Each sample runs on its own glass-based microfluidic chip, so you can run anywhere from 2 to 24 samples without pooling or wasting consumables. It works with most commercial PCR master mixes, which keeps assay transfer from qPCR simple.

How many samples can the digital PCR system run at once?
Up to 24 samples per run, with one chip per sample. The minimum run is 2 samples, so small batches do not waste consumables.
Which fluorescent dyes are supported?
Atto425, FAM (EvaGreen), HEX (VIC), ROX, Cy5 and Quasar705, plus one customisable channel. The instrument is offered in 2- to 7-channel configurations.
Is this droplet digital PCR or chip digital PCR?
It is chip-based: a glass sandwich microfluidic chip generates more than 20,000 partitions and seals each one by solidifying the oil phase, which prevents droplet fusion and keeps partition size uniform.
Can I use my existing qPCR master mix and primers?
The system is compatible with most commercial PCR master mixes, so many qPCR probe assays transfer with little optimisation. Dedicated digital PCR reagent kits (CY-PCR-04) are also available.
How sensitive is it?
The manufacturer specifies 0.01% sensitivity, a 5-log dynamic range and ±10% quantification accuracy.
How long does a run take?
The full process – partitioning, amplification, reading and analysis – takes 3 hours or less. Sample loading takes under 4 minutes.
What is the price of the digital PCR system?
