CYDN31 is a genomic DNA extraction system designed for clotted whole blood. A nuclear lysis solution with Proteinase K lyses the clot to release DNA, protein is removed by selective precipitation, and DNA is precipitated with isopropanol using molecular biology grade glycogen.
