What to compare
- Heating only, or heating and cooling. Cooling helps for enzyme steps below room temperature and for fast cool-down after denaturation.
- Mixing. Mixing speed and pattern matter for lysis, resuspension and on-bead reactions; a dry bath does not mix.
- Heated lid. Reduces condensation on caps in long or hot incubations.
- Block formats. 0.2 / 0.5 / 1.5 / 2 mL tubes or microplates – check interchangeable blocks before ordering.

Which model mixes and heats at the same time?
The thermomixers CY-TMP-04 (heating and cooling) and CY-TMP-05 (heated lid, mixing up to 3,000 rpm), and the microplate thermo shakers CY-TMP-06 and CY-TMP-07.
Do I need a heated lid?
A heated lid limits evaporation and condensation on tube caps during long or hot incubations. CY-TMP-05 has an adjustable heated lid; CY-TMP-08 is a dry bath with a heated lid.
Can I use 96-well plates?
Yes. CY-TMP-06 processes up to 6 ELISA, cell-culture or deep-well plates at once, and CY-TMP-07 is a single-position microplate thermo shaker with a 0–100 h timer.
